Established in 2020, the MACH Alliance is a not-for-profit industry association that serves as a globally recognized authority and advocates for open, best-of-breed technology ecosystems. The Alliance sets standards and certifies companies who can deliver open and transformative technologies and solutions at scale, and guides brands toward transformative solutions that are driving business evolution.
By raising awareness and educating the global marketplace, the Alliance aims to foster a deeper understanding of MACH and composable best practices, enabling modern organizations to plan for their long-term digital success and achieve better business outcomes.

The MACH Alliance is guided by an elected Executive Board that exists to ensure the organization fulfills its commitments, and remains true to its vision, mission and values. Bob Howland, chairperson of the Alliance, sits on the organization’s Executive Board.
The MACH Alliance hosts an annual conference where leading organizations, consumer brands and attendees from around the world gather to share knowledge, network, and explore the latest moves in composable architecture through the lens of the MACH principles - Composable, Connected, Incremental, Open and Autonomous. This year’s event, The Composable Conference, will take place in Chicago in April.
The Alliance also offers a global education initiative, rideMACH, for anyone pursuing business growth through digital strategy and innovation or who is in a role connected to business transformation. rideMACH courses are designed to empower all types of learners with the knowledge and skills that organizations need to embrace and leverage open and transformative technologies.
Finally, in conjunction with its annual conference, the Alliance hosts its own awards program, the MACH Impact Awards. These prestigious awards shine a spotlight on future-proof solutions that drive measurable business value and solve complex technical challenges through leveraging and deploying MACH and composable approaches.
